Scanning a document with iPhone Notes
Using the Notes app on your iPhone, scan a document as described below.
- Go to your iPhone’s Notes app.
- Create a new note or select an existing one.
- Select the camera icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose Scan Documents.
- Stack the document in your line of sight.
- In Auto mode, your document will automatically be scanned. If it does not, you will have to tap the Shutter button manually.
- Fit the scan to the document by dragging the corners.
- Click Keep Scan.
- Click Done.
As soon as you have scanned a document, you can share it with someone else. To do this, you can either share the file you saved with the person on their preferred platform (WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, e.t.c.) or share the Note in which it was created with the person. You can copy iPhone Notes to other people by following the instructions in this post.
Was it successful? Did I miss anything important? Is there something else you would like me to discuss scanning with your iPhone? If you have a request, please let me know in the comments section, and I’ll get back to you.
