I just tested a $700 Wi-Fi 7 router with dual screens — and it’s surprisingly great

A router with sufficient blinking coloured LEDs to appear to be a lit up Christmas tree appears so 2015 to me after I lived with the TP-Hyperlink Archer BE900 router for 2 weeks. The Wi-Fi 7 router just isn’t solely among the many quickest methods to maneuver wi-fi information round my home, but it surely has no annoying LEDs. What it does have is 2 screens that present me what’s occurring contained in the router and generally is a little whimsical. Be warned, it may be addictive.

Taking a brand new route with Wi-Fi router design

The grey and black Archer BE900’s geometric form is a daring new design route for TP-Hyperlink that debuted with the Archer BE800 router. Referred to as V Fold, the design language is vertical and squared off with a central pinch that makes the router appear to be a blocky hourglass.
